Main Purpose

Laskaridis Shipping Co. Ltd./Lavinia Corporation is seeking for an Electronics Superintendent.The successful candidate will provide administrative and coordination support to ensure the efficient operation of the daily activities of the department.

The Electronics Superintendent will be responsible for receiving, analyzing and responding to issues of the onboard Electronics equipment (Navigation, GMDSS, AMS, PCS, PMS, etc) of the vessels. Additional knowledge of engine room/ME (and other) electronics equipment will be considered a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Electrical engineering or Merchant/Navy Academy equivalent degree. Advanced degree preferred
• 3-5 years of proven experience with vessel Navigation, GMDSS and onboard maintenance of electronics equipment
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
