Laskaridis Shipping Co. Ltd. is seeking to employ an experienced Purchaser for the Supply/Purchasing Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling and processing spare parts and stores requisitions.
• Forwarding and monitoring orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinating with suppliers and internal departments regarding procurement requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records and utilizing relevant procurement software modules efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the purchasing department of a shipping company, with emphasis on spare parts, stores procurement and order forwarding.
• Flexibility and proficiency in the use of related purchasing and ERP software modules.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Strong PC literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills, ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented attitude and attention to detail.
